Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at UMW Wroclaw, Poland: AI in medicine: preparation by getting familiar with the real medical data

Dear students,

I am sending you information about the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organised by Wroclaw Medical University (WMU) in Poland: AI in medicine: preparation by getting familiar with the real medical data, which will include:

– a series of online meetings during which the organizer plans to show you samples of medical data sources (with their quality in the context of data science). This will help you understand why medical data often seems complicated and/or incomplete (or messy!).

– a meeting in Wroclaw (planned for June 2024) with plenty of discussions with medical staff, who have an experience in cooperation with data scientists.

Who can apply: IT / data science students. All activities will be performed in English.

Confirmation: you will receive the certificate of participation in the event for both virtual and in person presence. Your certificate will validate the 3 ECTS points for this event, that you can use for your further education.

Note that obtaining confirmation of participation in the course (and receiving ECTS points) requires participation in both: the online and offline parts!
